Low-emissivity (low-e) glass is a high performing technology that has been used in homes throughout Europe for many years.
Enjoy the best of the outdoors indoors and live closer to the view you love.
Low-e glass has an almost invisible coating contained on the inside pane of an insulated glass unit (IGU). This coating lets the sun’s light and energy into your home and reflects heat back indoors, forming a shield against the cold. It cuts heat loss by about 20% to 30%, compared to double glazing without low-e*. In warmer climates low-e glass can also be used to keep cool air inside your home.

Low-e makes your home more liveable. And if you add an insulating gas like argon to your double or triple glazed unit, it will keep in even more warmth. And as part of a total window system, low-e can help boost the energy efficiency of your windows and help you achieve an ENERGY STAR mark for your home.
