From classic to contemporary, the style you choose creates a visual impact on your home.
Our newest addition to the Fairview joinery range (launched end 2019), has a modern, minimalist look and has the scope to stretch from standard window and door builds (up to 2.2m), right up to architecturally designed homes with doors up to 2.5m high.
The higher-spec solution uses frames and profiles in hinged, bi-fold and sliding doors that are narrower in width. Their smart design enables their strength to be delivered from frame/profile depth instead.
– From simple and cost-effective to sophisticated and state of the art
– For doors up to 2.5m high
– For extra high wind zones
– Option to have narrow frames
– Allows for larger panes of glass increasing expanded views
– Easier to clean with curved condensation channels

MODERN SQUARE AND FLUSH
A modern square, flat aesthetic, with flush surfaces and a larger than normal glazing capacity allows for clean design requirements and increased glass span.
Thermally improved joinery for a drier, warmer home in winter or reduced heat in summer, featuring ‘thermal break’ polyamide technology.
Fairview Thermal is a range of windows and doors custom built for New Zealand’s harshest winds, iciest mornings and chilliest nights. The performance rating exceeds New Zealand Standards*
The Thermal suite, featuring ‘thermal break’ polyamide technology, delivers up to 73% improvement in thermal efficiency. When used with the right glass solution, this could mean a drier, warmer home in winter, reduced heat in summer and lower heating and cooling bills throughout the year.
Thermal windows and doors are flexible enough to hold up to triple glazing and larger-scale glass panels. The combination of flush surfaces, square shapes and timber liners creates a look that is contemporary and refined.
* Tested in accordance with NZS4211:2008 and AS2047.
HOW DOES A THERMAL JOINERY WORK
The below close up of the joinery gives you a visual of the polyamide strip, or thermal break, which reduces outside temperatures from being transferred through the frame, impacting internal temperatures.
WHY THERMAL FRAMES MAKE A DIFFERENCE
These models show a non-thermal vs thermal frame. The outside temperatures on each model are the same (-1C), but there is a noticeable difference in the inside frame temperatures. Thermal frames reduce the heating required to create a warm, cosy, comfortable home.
